October 16, 2025: We’re on the road! Molly (PWHC Board Member), Mary (ED), and our PWS residential expert, BJ Goff travelled to Latham Centers on Cape Cod this week to learn more about Latham’s extraordinary care of people living with PWS. We toured the main school campus and community center, and then visited one of eleven adult group homes…all beautifully and thoughtfully designed. We asked a million questions and return with new information and ideas to integrate into our plans. Thanks for a great visit!
September 19, 2025: Anne, Juliette, Ben, and Oscar had a fantastic time dog-sitting Honey last weekend…and it was a great opportunity to demonstrate their teamwork and animal care skills. Thank you to David (Program Manager) and all of the de Lone House staff for planning and supporting this venture!
September 2, 2025: Sometimes Sunday Funday is also Sunday Get-Stuff-Done-Day. Ben got his hair cut and learned from Oscar how to deadhead his flowers, Juliette and Anne braved the heat to check on their planters, Oscar sanded and painted and helped put away a puzzle. Ben’s cousin had a blast watering. And of course Sunday Funday does often include some music and a game — this week Sequence!
